You can download the full FvF4 version to run locally:

The server runs quest mode by default.
What I mean is that I can't run it on a personal server and that code base doesn't leave your possession.

Is all good though!

And there's a Vote command to change it to whatever mode you want. But yeah, it's pretty much always in Quest mode, which in the cooperative game.

Hey, what older versions do you have?
The server is based on FvF 2.09 (greatly modified beyond that -- anything beyond 2.09 requires custom models).
I have maybe one older version that was 1.75 or so. Then there was the versions 3 and 4 that came later.
If you have some version I don't have saved, I might want a copy.

With the re-release of Quake everywhere I'm back trying to get things to work.

I know everything is locked down by you guys, but I miss playing the level based game in on the base maps coop with my friends like I did more than 20 years ago, so I hung on to some older versions of FVF.

Still here! I can't really play right now (work stuff) but if you hop on the FvF server and wait a while, someone will probably show up.

quake.shmack.net is active, too, if you like runequake.

Sheesh, I can't believe the website is still up after so many years! Wow! It's been a super long time. I'm coming back to good ole quake and I thought it would be awesome to sink some time into FvF, if it's still alive and kicking.
