Yeah, I just like... got off my ass and spun up a compile of the latest vkQuake and noticed the server timing out.

The domain name still resolves though.

I have a profile in OBS setup for recording gameplay videos with, so that's no problem. OBS-Studio is really the FRAPS of the Linux world, hell it's quite possibly the only good screencasting thing for Linux there is. Just have to wait for a ton of players to show up so I can have them on candid cam...

Put the following file in either 'id1/textures' or 'fvf/textures':

Since I currently have no life, I'm pretty much down for anytime.

I was in the server for a few minutes then it suddenly crashed or went down while in E1M2.

I think Dr.DUMBFUCK was the only thing I used at Quake 1, was also playing Unreal under that name but it would frequently get me kicked\banned because some server admins don't like profanity for some reason. (Making a M rated game "Kid-Friendly" doesn't make sense to me...)

If I wasn't still living with parents and I had actual reliable internet access, I'd offer to host the server 24/7. I don't think I've ever setup FTP access for something before but it can't be that terribly complicated to work out.

I'm contemplating live streaming myself playing on the FvFOnline server whenever it comes around to getting resurrected. Though my internet sucks terribly that I'm not sure I can properly have a stable stream and stable gameplay at the same time.

Could always record YouTube videos instead.
