I would like to propose that new classes could be "special treats" (like the Alien and Time Traveler) only available in Quest mode. So each would need its own randomly appearing artifact.

Haha yeah I was trying both some invalid things, and some things that proquake server wouldn't know about (but your client would).

"sky" and "alpha" are the only valid ones, though "alpha" is useless if the server doesn't send it.

Thanks for taking care of that back then.

I don't know myself if it was hacked, but the bots were posting lots of spam and probably unsafe links on the forums.

Guess we'll have to see if Gunter knows anything about that.

Bad Surface Extents (a case study): I was using a large texture that was stretched out on a wide, flat brush (stretched more along the horizontal than the vertical) by the "Fit" function in NetRadiant's surface inspector ("S").
