He distributed the FvF server progs.dat, and also sent it to Rocketguy, who deconstructed it and gave Foq the admin commands, requiring me to alter the code so Foq couldn't use the admin commands in the last FvF server.

Hm, well, it seems the gallery doesn't support animated GIFs (pronounced JIFFs, you heathens!).

I went and added a note to the animated ones, to click the "original image" link below the image... so you might wanna go back and check for animations you didn't see the first time (most but not all of the GIFs are animated -- hover your mouse over the thumbnails to see which are GIFs).

Anyhow, if polarite doesn't respond, I guess I'll put out a general request on QuakeOne.

I'm googling for server hosts but I don't really see anything, and I somehow doubt they'd let you have FTP access to update the progs.

If I wasn't still living with parents and I had actual reliable internet access, I'd offer to host the server 24/7. I don't think I've ever setup FTP access for something before but it can't be that terribly complicated to work out.

I think Dr.DUMBFUCK was the only thing I used at Quake 1, was also playing Unreal under that name but it would frequently get me kicked\banned because some server admins don't like profanity for some reason. (Making a M rated game "Kid-Friendly" doesn't make sense to me...)

Hey foq, since you already have 2 previous accounts on the forum, how about re-using the previous one? We'll get swarmed in little foqers if you keep making new ones!

Your previous account is now named just f0qer (but I can change that after you get back on it, if you want).

I reset the password for it to the first part of the email you just used to register your new account (the part before the @ sign). Gee, I guess I should have PMd that, since other people might know your various emails, heh... but who'd wanna steal your account??

Anyway, see if you can log into that, then I'll delete this new foq... with extreme prejudice!!

Yep. That's a redirect service. Whatever the new IP is, fvf.servequake.com will redirect to it.
