you people are all freaks. Why does FvF attract all you freaks?
But in any case, what's that big Quoth map episode thing over at Quakeone? Did I read right that it requires a custom engine to run it or something? So it won't run in proquake?
I guess it wouldn't be good to try it in FvF then.....
Also, it's a 40 meg download?
I guess it wouldn't be good to try on Gunter's modem then.....
P.S. You're all freaks.

Only certain people are freaks, but I wont give any names. But you are correct, why does FvF attract so many freakish players?
As for the big Quoth map episode, called WARPSPASM, it can only be run in the latest versions of enhanced gl, win, and neh quake. No other engine can yet, run it. (Not even DP)
There is a setting in the WARPSPASM mod to replace all the Quoth monters with the regular ID1 monsters, but that isnt the problem here. The problem is each map is gigantic. I'm serious. They are unbelievably huge, taking on average 60 minutes to complete each map, with around 550 monsters on each, excluding the first and last map. And there are 4 or 5 maps in it I think. Yes, I have already played through it, and loved it. It's incredibly hard, as I died many many times.
So trying the WARPSPASM maps out in FvF is totally out of the question.

What I'm saying is that if fvf didn't have multiple classes, most people would stick to rquake. Even though rocketguy had a server before rquake, fvf was the only coop server back then. But now there are 3 good coop servers and will probably be more with the new supercoop mod making a scene.
FvF is a good place to hang out but not a good place to fight. <-- This signature pisses Jow off XD
